ExploreBike Offroad Training gives you the opportunity to train with your bike in the different terrain you  might encounter as a adventure rider. The training area is unique and provides both challenging and rough parts.

The training is open for both beginners and advanced riders. It is a bit tough, but it will make you a better and more experienced rider.

You will get coaching from experienced instructors that will help you develop during the training sessions.

1. Time

The training is conducted during two days on saturday the 31th May and sunday the 1th of June 2025. We will ride both days from 08.30 to approx 16.00.

2. Location

We meet at Lillemans MC (link) on Sellerigatan 7 in Lund (Sweden). Be ready to ride at 08.30 on the 31th of May. We start with a short introduction and then head for the training area for a drivers briefing.

3. Motorcycle

All motorcycle brands are welcome.

Adventure/offroad motorcycle with at least 50/50 tires (Michelin Anakee Wild for reference).

We recommend that you have a bash plate, engine bars and hand guards (Barkbusters for reference).

You can ride with or without your soft/hard panniers (if you train for adventure travelling). If you don´t want to ride with your panniers/other gear you can leave it at Lillemans MC in the morning.

4. Equipment

Personal protection is required such as helmet, visor/goggles, boots, gloves and protection for back, shoulders, elbows and knees.

It is also wise to bring a backpack with water and rain gear. We ride in all types of weather.

5. Training

Each day we will ride at four different training locations (totally eight different locations). You will be able to train in almost all types of terrain you will encounter on a motorcycle adventure.

This is not a group ride, it is designed for you to be able to practice on your own at the different training locations. We ride together to the training locations and there you are able to train in your own pace with the help of the instructors.

We ride in one basic group and one advanced group. It is possible to change group at any time of the weekend.

6. Food and talk

All meals are included (day 1 - lunch and dinner, day 2 - breakfast and lunch). Swedish fika is of course also included.

At the end of day 1 we meet up at Lillemans MC for the dinner and a inspirational talk on adventure riding.

7. Preparations

To get the most out of the course you should be somewhat used to ride on gravel roads (for the basic level). The course is offroad (sand, dirt, hills, forest tracks etc).

We advice you to go through the ExploreBike Adventure School Chapter 6: Offroad riding (link) before the course.

8. Accomodation

Hotel are included and we are staying (saturday to sunday) at Best Western Plus Park City (link) located at Hedvig Möllers gata 2 in Lund. This hotel is close to the starting point at Lillemans MC.

9. Miscellaneous

We have a support car to help you get back to the civilization (Lillemans MC) if needed due to mechanical failure.

The instructors are trained first responders and eqipped with a first aid kit and telephone.
